Festool Hose Mod (Green Sheath)

After having my hose catch so many times on the edge of the MFT, I finally copied a Youtube video of a mod for the Festool hose, and it worked great. I incorporated the power cord inside the wrap, and it was extremely easy. Used Fabric shrink tubing for the ends and works great. The green color matches other Festool items.

I used green Gorilla Sleeve and heat-shrink vinyl tubing several years ago.  It's held up well over the years.  [smile]

We had better luck with one of the newer sleeves from TechnoFlex called Flexo Pet from www.wirecare.com (they are fantastic, no affiliation)

Is that a 27mm hose? What size sleeve did you buy?

I think it must have been 1.25"  ordered from wirecare.com That includes my power cord inside

Flexopet is great, I have three hosescovered with it and is available in Festtol green.
