festool items from UK

hi,
i have a trip coming up shortly and thought i'd take advantage of the low pound rate to get some say smaller items that are easier to carry.

any suggestions? also any popular stores in London?

one think i was wondering about is this bit. i haven't heard much of this bit though.

toolfest, N&B, however Toucan has the largest stock of festool Ive seen

There isn't much in central London and in london generaly, Toucan Tools probably is the best shout. It's far East London, probably take an hour to get there from a 'central London' location.

good point.
i'll be staying near big ben/london eye and sightseeing the usual places.

i'll also be doing a road trip doing a loop going west towards salisbury, then bath, little bit of wales, going around to cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, oxford and then back.

Check out N&B store in north somserset. They are probably the cheapest in the uk and it sounds like you will be pretty close on your road trip

If you are heading down to the coast Brighton tools and Fixings have a pretty good range on show and will get things in for you! Might be worth checking the UK 110v is compatible with US 110v as it is effectively two phases of 55v rather than a single 110v phase. I am sure there have been threads on here before about it.
