Festool Measuring tape... Do not open....

Stupid me...

The retracting spring in my Festool measuring tape was very weak and I thought it may be worth a try to open it and rewind that stupid thing.... NOT!

Opening it and rewinding wasn't the problem... The problem started when I tried to fit the actual tape/scale back into the internal guidance grooves....
Not possible!

Anyhow, just a heads up, DO NOT OPEN THOSE TAPE MEASURES!

Thank goodness I have another one!
