Hello, First time poster, first time Festool owner

I was sanding my cabinet today and noticed the vacuum had a "plasticy" smell to it. It's the second time i've used it however the ambient temperature is 20 deg warmer now than when I used it the first time. I checked it out and noticed warm/hot air coming from the exhaust ports. The ambient temp was only 60. Is this normal?

Air gets heated through the extraction process. Normal. For some reason my CT-36 Auto puts out hotter exhaust air than my CT-26. Not sure if that's due to 36 Auto not having HEPA Filters since I think the motor is the same between the two vacs.

This is pretty normal, and I wouldn't be concerned about it. If you start getting performance issues or some other stranger things happening, let us know.
