Festool Midi Power Output 110v

Hi all.

I have recently bought a Festool CTL MIDI 110v and the power output on the plug socket for auto extraction says "Maximum 500w". I have seen multiple topics saying that I cannot use anything above 500w, but then I have also seen people saying they have been using there TS55 track saw which is 1200w with this hoover perfectly fine for a number of years.

I cant find a definitive answer to this so any help would be appreciated.

I'd like to plug my 1800w Mitre saw into the Midi for auto extraction.

It's 2400W.

Perfect!, I wish they didn't put that sticker on there as it really confuses people.

I  suspect  that it is not really Festool's choice to use that sticker.
