Festool is bringing out a sysroll with integrated mft. Looks like the copied Timtool’s MFTC.

It certainly does seem like they saw Tim's MFTC and decided they could make it. I like what they came up with.

Did you see the table it comes with is sold separately and attachable to an MFT/3?

definitely seems like a shift to the Sortimo work flow idea. In my shop it is a Festool , Sortimo and RUWI when it comes to this stuff. Pick what works for you ,optimizing for your work flow.

Given that two of these are basically the same size of an MFT/3 (and also cost even a bit less) but store smaller (less height) and are lighter they might be worth a look for mobile use (even without the cart, just to enlarge an MFT/3).

Looking at the plastic corners though I fear an 'upgrade' to the MFT/3 will be coming at some point...

The MFT attachment is a great idea. I can see some creative types using their part or woodpeckers jig to make some cool stuff to attach to their MFT.

I got some ideas Im floating around my head after just looking at the photos posted here.

That thing looks awesome.  Don't need it.  Don't want it.  But for the finish carpenters with their cargo vans... suh weet!
Festool has really been tweaking the odds and ends in a great way, this year.

Yeah, I want that bit.  I have just the space, just for that in my shop.

I wil eventually get the mw 1000, love my MFT3 and sysroll and this takes the concept further in a nice manageble way..

Huh, Ive never even heard of the Sortimo products. Ill have to check those out a bit more. Looks like the link to their US shop is dead though: LINK

Since TANOS is also carrying this does that mean we should be able to order through Lee Valley?

Those clip-on drawers are interesting.
Uprights could be attached to the shop wall and drawers mounted or moved around as needed, or even transferred to the cart. Expensive solution though.

It looks neat.  There’s not much need from the home carpenter.  This MTF makes life easy for anyone working out in the field.  I couldn’t imagine trying to haul around a regular MFT on muti-story projects would be any fun.

I've been pondering a good solution for those on a DIY sys-roll, maybe by mounting sideplates with upright clamps to a sys-az?
