Now that we're being serious about this piece ... it really should have had a glass door beer fridge integrated into the design.

How boring is this? I already have the concept for a Festool tri color scheme on a Kapex cart, Sean just needs to send me one to do a review on, not enough people know about it yet. There are two errors that I have found. The top of the drawer front and the top of the faux panel line up, but the bottoms do not and im not sure if I should have extended the drawer fronts and access panel 3/4" so that the reveal would have been the same on the router side. Bob come pick this one up, Im building a new one,  Eric

The US Air Force just called and they want to know if they can do an emergency landing on my router table top!!! Eric

Eric, no T-Loc latches as drawer pulls?????? I'm a little disappointed ;-P

Now there's a challenge ... a king size systainer bench. A 5x scale Sys2 should do it [big grin]

For practicality sake, no handle on top!

Guys, those are Home Depot Contractor Pack $2.70 per hardware. I didnt want to go over the top, Eric

I had some but I put them on my box van, thinking that my clients would see them and realize I was about quality, Eric

Ok so I have to say way to go Eric, This setup is fantastic, and you now are a true Festool Nerd for sure  [eek]

Real Nice job I do really like it alot

By the way it was great seeing you at the Nut

Sal

Ha! Nice stuff!  So... green is for adjustable things and you have it on the drawers, but I see a side panel that's green  [blink]  does it slide out to reveal a hidden compartment?!?

Sal, I did it to impress guys like you. It was great as always seeing you. Look forward to the next time. Thanks for the advice on the UWB, Im sure i will have more questions when construction time begins. I start an MFT cart to match the router table this weekend, Eric

Paul, I should have put more time into the color selection, but then my wife would have divorced me. The double panel on the side is stationary. The panel above the double drawer sits on a cleat and has three rare earth magnets holding it tight. When removed you can access the router and every once in ahile suck out the saw dust. The router has its own D50 port and the Wonderfence has its own D50, both running into a Y piece, then through a DD on a Sys5 and into the CT22. On all but the most aggressive passes it has 100% DC.

To update, the garage is way nicer with these bright new colors. Its got a good vibe going! Eric

Eric -

Great work on that router table brotha!  It was great to meet you at the Tool Nut last Saturday.  But I have to say, I think you type more words than you spoke when I met you!

Looking forward to seeing your future projects.  Keep up the good work man.

Brian, glad you like it. Most people wouldnt have thought of an all Festool color scheme, but im different. Im working on a color scheme for my MFT cart as we speak. Look forward to hanging again, Eric

Brian, I am the Chatty Cathy of the bunch!  If only I could get paid to talk, I'd be pretty darned rich!  Maybe I'll start a Festool hotline for people who need to talk about their large Festool acquisitions!  Lmao!!!

It was great to meet you at Toolnut!  Although we've had good convos over the phone prior!

Keep in touch!

Bob

Bob, sad you didnt get to stop by today. Youre the only one here who will have the pleasure of seeing this in person. I know, your family got in the way again, heard that on before. Hit me up before the 23rd, Eric Tell Nikki congrats!

Very sharp paint job Eric!  And a great router table that will give you years of enjoyment.  [thumbs up]

Thanks Ron, the MFT cart sequel is gonna be full of domiplating.

Very nice Eric! Are the drawers outfitted with  bit holders and such?
