Hello Everyone,

I don't normally post much but am a avid reader of this forum and do greatly appreciate the amount of time and effort everyone puts in.

In the past I've used Bob Marino for my Festool purchases and was always so impressed by his impeccable customer service.  Since Bob's retirement I have been looking for another dealer that could provide the customer service I had come to expect and have to say Chip at Festool Nirvana was the exact type of dealer I was looking for.

A good example of the customer service Chip provides is from my most recent order.  A little after midnight I was placing a preorder for the Kapex/UG Stand special and unfortunately there wasn't a "add to cart" button.  I sent Chip a quick e-mail fully expecting to hear back from him sometime within the next day or so but was blown away to receive his reply a few minutes later letting me know that he had corrected the problem.

Thanks again for the time everyone puts into this forum and hope my recommendation for Festool Nirvana helps someone looking for a great dealer.

+1 Chip is great! I had a similar experience with Chip. I pre-ordered the Origin workstation from him earlier this week.

I used them recently as well. Great experience. Plus they do the assortment of sandpaper which is nice.

Dont know anything about tool Nirvana, but Ive had great service from both Anderson Plywood (Don Ware knows these tool better than just about anyone out there and Beaver Tools.
Both are great dealers.

I ordered a couple custom sandpaper assortment packs, along with a few other items from festoolnirvana.com the other day. I was blown away when the complete order showed up on my porch in under 24 hours! Another very satisfied Festool Nirvana customer!

I tend to spread my purchases around, no real rhyme or reason to it.  Some local, some on-line.  Most of my on-line ordering is from Festool-Nirvana.  When I first started down the slop I stumbled on their website and found it to be very well organized and informative.  At some point I asked about assortment sandpaper packs and [member=29369]Chip S.[/member] went out of his way to help me get what I wanted.

What really impressed me is the speed I receive my orders.  If placed my order sometime mid day I always receive it the next day!  I once called Chip to thank him and he explained that they are located right next to the FedEx hub in Chicago so he makes a special effort to get things over to them by their cutoff time.  I live just outside of Cincinnati which makes ground service from Chicago the same as next day!

I'm in Burlington, about 180 from you on the other side of the river!

I think that is where Uncle Bob (Marino) used to have his warehouse.  Maybe when this virus lifts, we can all grab a bourbon or beer.

Another high five for FestoolNirvana and Chip.  He's answered questions and provided help on many occasions.

I know we have some other great vendors on here as well, but it's nice to see Chip getting some attention too!

Thanks everyone for confirming that my experience is the norm and not a exception.

Appreciate the gracious comments. Hopefully everyone here is in good health and stays that way.

Want to thank Festool's crew in Lebanon, Indiana - hasn't been an easy couple weeks but they're still shipping product to us dealers as quickly as they're able to while taking additional precautions (which we are as well). Needless to say any inconvenience on our part is nothing compared to what healthcare workers around the globe are dealing with.

I'd planned to take a trip to Cincinnati for a baseball game this summer. Hopefully the pesky virus goes away soon and baseball season can start! Went to Great American Ball Park a couple summers ago - nice park and plenty to do in the neighborhood around it.

And this year we actually have a great team!  I think it is a conspiracy by Saint Louis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and Chicago to not lose to us. Been a long time coming!!

Let us know if you make it down.

There can be only one, but I am sure we can come up with another name, Peter.

How have you been my friend, it has been too long!

Hey Chip,
I was looking to purchase a Rotex 90 and also get a small sampling of Granat abrasives for it (maybe 5-10 of each of the commons grits for both shaped pads). Is this something you can help put together? I didn’t really want to spend $200 for systainer abrasive kit when I don’t really need another systainer.  Does the Rotex 90 even come with any Granat paper? Isn’t there also plenty of room in the systainer for a good amount of abrasives?

Thanks!
Ryan

Castellini seems to be working on it!  I'm hoping that MLB figures out a way to have some sort of season this year.

Growing up, Dad would buy tickets for us to see the Reds play every other team in the league.  Many of the games would be Double Headers.  When I retired from the Marine Corps I was able to take him for his first Reds Opening Day game!

[member=62084]Rhino1789[/member] Hey Ryan. While you can never have too many systainers, no problem putting together an abrasive assortment for you! The Granat custom assortments can be found here on our site. The Rotex RO 90 Sander comes with a Granat sample sheet in each shape & does have some room in it for sandpaper storage.
