Festool Pro 5 Limited Sander Promotion - where are we?

I spoke with my Dealer right around Christmas. They told me maybe around Feb or March. I just laughed.
 
From what I've heard, most dealers are not getting a firm answer from Festool about the delivery dates.

That is the case. I was told Festool shipped our first batch the other day, but we have not gotten an email shipping confirmation as yet. However I atrribute that snag to Festool getting their new warehouse and ordering system in place.
But as a reminder, these shipments are being delivered in batches biweekly for the next month or so. Good news is that are coming.
 
Just following up to see if there are any new updates.  If there are, please let me know.  I know we have to be patient, but am just looking for an update.

Got mine on Tuesday. I haven't turned it on yet but it does feel good in the hand.

They're still being sent to dealers on a regular basis. I'm hearing from more and more people who have received theirs. Unfortunately, I can't really give dealer- or customer-specific details.
 
Picked-up my Pro 5 Ltd at the end of last week.  Hopefully I will get to give it a quick try this weekend.

is the promotion limited to one Pro 4 per person? I put my name on the list twice, once at #3 and then again at #57. I just got a call from the dealer saying my second sander came in. So can i still get the sander or is it only 1 tool per person allocation?
 
I'm not aware of an allocation.  There's a guy on the Sawmill Creek forum that bought four sanders.

I dont know about others tools, I got my sanders first week, but I have not received my rebate. I filled out my form online 8-9 weeks ago. There is no way I can find to track it to see if maybe it was lost in the mail.

I filled out the online form somewhere between Nov 17th(day I bought the new tool) and 24th(I know I filled online form out no later than a week after purchase).

For informational purposes my first three were sent in during the latter part of November and early December and each took about 3 weeks to get the check.  My fourth one was sent in about two weeks ago and has not arrived yet.  They come in white envelopes with windows from Tooltechnic Systems.

My rebate has taken three contact events beginning with Tyler C. For whatever reason it was held up as I initiated the rebate in November, and they had record of it. She finally pushed it through last week after I followed up with a second email. I was told the rebate check should be sent out in a "few" weeks. No wonder I hate rebates. This isn't my first go a round on rebates being in the system but not be funded by other companies, with one of them being All-Clad. Makes me feel like they don't want to pay out, and hold rebates unless the customer follows up.

In Tyler's defense he did exactly what he said he would do, which was to pass my information on. Festool, or the company they use, on the other hand held up on processing for no particular reason. Both of my purchases were legitimate from authorized sellers, and they needed no further information from me.
