Hey guys !  Anyone going to Cleveland Tool and Cutter this Friday or Saturday ?  November 7 and 8  20014.

Larry Smith ( a very cool dude!)  will be showing off some great tools we all know and love.

I'll be their Saturday morning.    Anyone else?

I'm sure all of you are subscribed to the regional events and know when and who will be in your hood showing off Festool goodies.

I hope Larry brings a  Vecturo set!!!!!!

Not going but good to see you here again, where you been?

What ?  You're not gonna fly to Cleveland for a couple hours of shop talk?  Cleveland is the  hot spot lately!    [wink]

I'm working my tail off at work, putting in a ton of overtime hours.  While getting some things done  around the house.    And on my spare time, the current project I have going on in the shop is building 4 new sys ports.  Recording the process for my new video.    [cool]

So, the basic stuff.

Won't make the event, but will be in Cleveland from the 10th through the 13th doing the first door install.

If I could fit my butt inna systainer, Id DHL myself there 1st class of course and make it. But alas my portly figure wont fit in one even a maxi.

Ive been busy at work, trying to get projects done when i get home. Then Im bushed stressed etc and I end up messing them up. So I just canned one last night, thought Id start over.

gonna do some small projects instead, less labor intensive and more simple and fun.

It also gives me time to adj the tools play with them more rather then my usual get the tool jump right into producton mode.. before I actually get to know it...

Anyway good to see ya bud, I do like your videos, keep'em coming

Glad I saw this post.  Ill be there tomorrow

@ Bark,    I missed your post.    Any chance you are the same guy that had the black coffee mug, festool hat and had Larry show off the OF1400?

So, Larry Smith showed off the Vecturo  at the show.  He was able to answer a couple questions I had....and this is going to be a sweet tool!

Larry also mentioned that he will be at Hartville Hardware in  Ohio  a couple weeks from now,  showing off the new Festool Conturo and some other goodies.  I learn something new every time Larry does a demo.  [cool]

So my next question to you Ohio guys......

Anyone going to the Hartville show  November 21 and 22 ?

I'm planning on going to the Saturday November 22 demo event.

I was there today and had a green zip up on.  Thanks for making this post otherwise i wouldnt have known about todays demo.  I was there til about 1 and talked with larry a little more in depth about a few things.  He showed me the 3- way miter with the df 500. Pretty sweet and the domino makes it so simple.

Always a great time learning little things within such a great system.  I will  be going down to hartville for their sale as well as the festool demo. Maybe i will see you there.

Eric,

Sorry I missed Cleveland Tool & Cutter.  Where did they fit everyone?  The place is so tight.

I went to the Hartville show several times in the past and it's always worth the trip.  I think that at the last show in the spring Larry Smith was there and there was an appearance by Ernie Conover.  There are always lots of other demos worth a trip for.  I do plan on going this time, but I'm not sure if it will be Friday or Saturday.

BTW, they moved all the Festool stuff into the log cabin at the front of the tool section.  It's really quaint and a nice setting for the Festool goodies.  I wonder if there's a green plaid shirt for the the Festool crew to wear in the new locale!

Okay Brian,  You're the 6' plus dude that has no problem watching a tool demo from anywhere in the room!    [tongue]
I've always wished I was a couple inches taller!

I'll keep an eye out for you at the Hartville demo.

Mike, it was tight!  It would be cool if they did something during the summer months.  Have booths outside and inside....but then again, the parking lot is also small.  I got up their around 9:30 and only 2 or 3 parking spots were open.

I went to Hartville a couple years ago when they had the grand opening.  I remember the log cabin.  Sounds like a cool spot for the Festool display.  I have a feeling this is going to be a cool demo day!
