I got a reconditioned C18 set about a year ago but haven't used the right-angle chuck until recently. My experience has been that the gears in the chuck seem to slip, making an awful grinding sound. I can get it to grab and drill with just the right pressure applied to the head but even that is iffy.
Is this a common problem? Will Festool repair/replace this - I'm about 10 months into the one-year warranty but not sure if the warranty applies to these accessory bits?
