Hi,
I have used a festool ro 150 feq for last five years, and it started making weird grinding noises (not the usual ones) and i don't have a licenced repair shop in my country. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how much the repair would cost?
Thank you in advance

To diagnose the issue, your repair shop or you will need to take it apart either way. Taking apart will allow to see which parts are used up and need replacing and spare parts can be ordered.
Remote diagnosis by sound really works only for the "is it normal or broken" but cannot reliably point to what (all) parts are messed up.

If decide to repair/replace parts yourself, do make sure to get the correct grease type to re-grease the parts which is suitable for the particular tool and the particular gear type. "Normal" greases are usually NOT suitable and special ones for friction gears like in angle grinders may be required. And each tool is different here. If the correct grease is not used, the life of the gearing can be drastically reduced.

In either case I would stop using the tool - if something is broken inside, you can likely cause further damage by using it. Even if we put safety concerns aside.
