Festool RO 90 - Cutting in and out issue

Hi, my RO 90 is now cutting in and out if I hold it vertically which I will do for sanding say table legs. If I hold it horizontally it seems fine. It almost seems like maybe there is something not connecting properly if held in this position. Any ideas please?

Do you happen to have another Plug-it cable? I would start there. It is likely making contact when the machine is horizontal, because of gravity acting on the cable.
