Didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but here's one of the truck. Learned a couple of helpful things from the reps. First was a more refined way of tightening the blade guide on the Carvex - all this time I didn't realize that it was optimal to tighten the guide when the blade holder was descended all the way on the down stroke. Second was about the persistent clogging problem on the ro90, where dust accumulates in the housing underneath the pad. Apparently they have or they are soon to revise the design, whereby the metal on the back of the housing (the section right above the dust chute) will be perforated, making a better escapement for the dust. Rep suggested I might be able to have service switch out for the perforated design, since my tool is less than 2 years old. That would be nice, as it gets tiresome cleaning out the housing after every sanding session.
Goody bag included the wooden folding ruler, which I'm totally psyched about, since I don't currently have one. Only disappointment was not winning any of several multi hundred dollar gift certificates they handed out through the event.
A good time was had by all. Thanks [member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] and Toolnut for hosting.
