The Festool Roadshow truck doesn't have a restroom, so I'm sure that technically they'll be stopping somewhere in Oregon or Washington.
Seriously, I was surprised that we weren't stopping in Oregon or Washington on this pass as well, but that is unfortunately the way that it worked out this time.
Our stops for the Roadshow are determined by a handful of factors. One of the biggest is dealer involvement. It's not just about dealers wanting to bring in the Roadshow. They also need to have enough space for it. (It's a pretty massive truck.) Also, we have other requirements for dealers, and those requirements narrow the pool of available dealers. Then we also have to juggle all of the other confirmed dates and locations to get a schedule the makes some degree of sense.
We've committed to keep the Festool Roadshow on the road for several years. If we didn't hit a certain area this time, we'll hopefully make it on the next pass.
As I've said before, if you want the Roadshow to come near you, the best thing that you can do is to tell your local dealer.
Also, we're usually out in Portland every year for JLC Live Northwest. I was there last December, and it was a good time. (I love that city.) Hopefully, we'll be there again this year.
