Hi all, I’m new here. I just bought a 2200 and looking for suggestions for a router table to go with it. I believe the CMS has been discontinued. Do Festool sell a new one? Does anyone have suggestions? It will be for in my small workshop and I’m in the UK.

The CMS is alive and well on the Festool USA site and others.  I will say, though, that I have found it kind of fussy with lots of little pieces to fit together for each possible use.

If your router table will be for shop use, I wouldn't recommend the Festool.  It seems to be more geared toward portability.  I've looked at it several items and didn't love the small size and wobble factor.

I would recommend the table of your choice, with a good lift that accommodates the 2200.

For shop use, there are several great choices over here, some with cast iron tops.  I use a Kreg base, an Excalibur lift, and a Woodhaven table and fence.  Strange, but this just developed over time.  I'm not sure what the common brands are over there.

I agree, for a shop router table, the CMS and OF2200 is overkill.  The Porter Cable 75182 works very will in a router lift and is only $300.

My router table started out all home made, now it has a Kreg top, fence, and lift, a PC 75182, and a box I built around the router for dust collection.  Works well for me.

CMS-VL if you can find it second hand.

Yes, the CMS is great if you need portable for work on site.  It's also great for a small workshop because you can fold all the parts up and stick it in a corner if you need space.
The VL version attaches to the MFT/3 and is very stable - I've routed large panels and it worked really well.
The accessories are great as well like the sliding table.  How many router tables have a good sliding table?
The fence can be fiddly, but that can be solved by an Incra LS, or just lots of patience/working to the strengths of the Festool fence.

The CMS is so well designed for the Festool routers - I can't imagine using another brand router table with the 2200.
Plus, it's just a minute or so to pop the routers out of the OF and you can use it free hand.  No need to dedicate a router permanently to a table.

Different viewpoint. Keep the 2200 for hand use, not tied up in a table. A PC motor, good lift, good fence, and a home built table is a great combination.
