Are the new sanding blocks designed only for 150mm paper?

If so, any plans for 125mm sanding blocks?

I use 125 paper, works fine. Don't even have any 150 paper. Currently working on adapting one of the blocks for hose attachment. Might be done this weekend, will post pics after done and testing.

I thought that maybe because using 125 paper would leave some of the fast fix exposed causing scatches on the work pieces?

Am I mistaking or is that just what sanding is supposed to do?  [cool]
Anyhow, I don't think you should worry to much, as the grit in sandpaper is a couple of magnitudes harder than the Fastfix hooks. If you see something, it's probably the hooks flattening the surface, instead of scratching it. Perhaps in the really high grits the story could be a bit different.

I had the same concern. For example if you were using 180 grit or higher, the fast fix does feel like it would impair the surface...not what you want to do. If you were using the 125 paper, could you put two disks on?

I was concerned about possible scratching from the exposed pad too. It has turned out not to be a concern. There is only about an inch of pad exposed at the rear with the 5" paper. When using the blocks I tend to use a fairly light hand. The pressure does not overtake the thickness of the paper and allow the pad to touch the work surface in any noticeable way. I've experimented by really pushing down on the pad hard, then there is some 'scuffing' from the pad. The scuffing is easily sanded out and has only happened when I have really force the pad down hard. I bought the 3 set in the green mini-sys. One pad is now in my ets sys, the other with my small detail tools and the square one is looking for a place to reside, probably end up with the MFT. What to use the green mini-sys for?
