Hello fog
I would like to introduce myself, Bill Niedermeyer and festool supply nw. I have been involved with festool as a dealer and user for almost ten years now. My past has been varied in fields of contracting, remodeling, custom cabinetry and woodworking, commercial store fixtures, plastics fabrication, metalworking, boatbuilding with wood and composites and the last 12+ years running a countertop business (Distinctive countertops inc.) in solid surface, stone and quartzes. I am not afraid to r&d and torture festools waaayyy past intended use, festool will attest to that, and come up with new ideas for festool as well. I have a armada of over  50+ festools that get used hard in the business daily, that is why I sell, promote and use festools. I believe I have a very good understanding of festools and their use and would like to hopefully bring some new knowledge and help to a already great area of discussion in the fog. My website is festoolsupply.com. I STOCK the full line of tools and accessories as well as some common spare parts. I am located just north of seattle washington in mountlake terrace. We ship country wide and have great access to alaska and hawaii, as well as walk ins and local area delivery. N.W. shipping is quick usually 1-3 days.  (the bc crowd makes regular trips down as well )
I promote festools in various shows and events, do onsite demos  and belong to professional organizations such as the master builders association, nkba ect. You may even see the festool supply van driving around the n.w.

This year, some of you may have followed festool supply as we  sponsored the nationally known Hopp racing team (hoppracing.com)in the unlimited lites hydro association ( ulhra.org ). It was a fantastic success as they raced around the country. The G-15 festool supply.com hydro finished in first place both in driver and boat standings in the north american challenge cup series. After several years of exhibitions, this was the first year that point and standings are now officially recorded. Festools name will hold that honor. The teams other hydro ,four time national champion UL-1  Festool supply.com ghram trucking happy go lucky held first place the entire year in the closest points race ever to the final championship, but flipped and crashed finishing second,it was a sad day but they have festools to fix the hydro this winter.Great Video, pictures, news and such can be viewed on ulhra.org, apba inboard racing and  hoppracing.com. Thanks to the many many festoolers and people who helped out to make it possible.

hope to talk with foggers and help out as I can  on tools and use, recommendations and especially if you need advice on solid surface and countertops, drop me a line.

Welcome Bill!
Holy hell that's a lot going on.
What's your favorite sink mount style and routed counter treatment?

Bill,

Welcome to FOG!  It's wonderful to have another Festool Dealer here in the Great NorthWest (I live in Bellevue).    The relationship between Festool Dealers and Festool users here on FOG is very close; we depend on you for detailed info on how to get the most from our tools.  With your background, you are a VERY welcome addition to the FOG knowledge and experience base!  ;D

Best regards,

Dan.

Welcome Bill!!

I love Festool Supply!
Bill has an extensive understanding of Festool products and how they work in harsh production conditions, I always look forward to seeing him and his shop.

You will see me soon I'm sure!

Take Care

Yeah, Bill sold me my first set of Festools (ATF55, RO150, OF1000, MFT1080) and I can remember how he really took the time to show a rookie like me what each tool did and what I needed and didn't need at the time. What impressed me the most is that all of his Festool equipment was pretty much beat to hell, meaning that he used them day in and day out in his business. I can even remember seeing an ATF55 rigged up with some kind of water outlet to cut solid surface material or was it granite?!! looked scary to me.

I highly recommend Bill if you are in the Seattle area if you want really see Festool equipment in action and work with someone that uses the tools. Festools that is.
