I had announced in another thread about the Systainer3 but sure every saw.

Festool is slowly transitioning its tool Systainers to the new Systainer³. Empty Systainers are not expected to be available until late 2020 or early 2021 based on current information.

Here are the tools that now come in a Festool Systainer³.

ETS 125 REQ
ETS EC 150/3
ETS EC 150/5
DTS 400
RTS 400
RO 125 FEQ (added 4/8)

ETA:
Also, I was just notified that the Tanos Systainer³ Cart (83500064) is now in stock and shipping from our website.

Does 'Empty Systainers' include the new SYS1 size storage units with clear tops?

[member=65755]jarbroen[/member] it includes any Systainer that doesn't have a tool inside of it.

The only Systainer³ we will see in the near future are those that come with tools. Sorry. [sad]

No worries, thanks for confirming!
I'll drool over those organizers while I continue to use my cheap Husky/Stanley boxes.

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] hope you and your family are healthy and safe.  Have you heard or seen when Festool might discontinue selling the Systainer T-Loc?  Appears to still be a decent supply of those, including the limited edition Systainer 2.

[member=63201]RustE[/member], no word on T-LOC Systainer being discontinued. We may see a rolling transition on those as well as they sell out of inventory and move to the Sys³. Not sure about other dealers, but we sold out of the blue Systainers quite a well ago.

As always, I try to bring you guys the latest info and updates here first. Stay tuned...

Question regarding current items - what is the deal with Festool 575690 TCS 55 with batteries and no track, this has been discontinued and replaced with what?

[member=64784]Skibum009[/member] the Systainer has not changed for the TSC 55, just staying on-topic with the thread.

The 575690 has no direct replacement. Festool has moved to only offering a tool with no batteries/charger or track (201394) or the full set with track, batteries and charger (575747).

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] - Do the Systainer3's fit in the SysAZ drawers?

[member=167]neilc[/member] from the info that I've seen the Systainer³ M and Systainer³ Organizer share the same footprint as T-LOCs. So, presumably they will fit in the AZ drawers. The heights are different from T-LOCs, so you may need to adjust spacing if you already have your drawers installed.

The Systainer³ has slots along the sides. I'd be surprised if we don't see a new way to store them on slides versus in drawers. Heck, there may already be something from Tanos or Bott that I missed.

Oops - looks like edwarmr responded to confirm while I was typing this.

ETA: here's a photo showing a Systainer in the drawer of the MW 1000.

I tried ordering a DF500 T-loc systainer insert a little ways back and was told that it had been discontinued due to the impending arrival of the sys3. Any idea when inserts will be available?

[member=63757]rubber_ducky[/member] Really wish I had more info to share, but Festool USA has only communicated that a few of the tools (listed in my OP) have transitioned to Systainer³. No information available on inserts.

Maybe [member=71429]DerickC[/member] has some intel to share.

I am checking with the service team to see if the inserts are still available as a spare part.

Standby.

[member=63757]rubber_ducky[/member] it looks like as we get closer to the SYS 3 transition these parts will become fewer and will eventually become unavailable as they are an accessory/consumable. If you have not reached out to the sales team please do as they would be the best bet for finding one. We'll keep you posted as more tools transition to the SYS 3.

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] apologies for the mis-count on the blue Systainers.  Yes, I do appreciate you posting news here for us.

@DerekC

I’m not expecting the T-loc version to become available. The person I spoke to at festool USA made it clear that these are being cleared out to make way for the sys3 fitment inserts.
Having given up on getting my hands on a t-loc unit, I assumed I’d be adapting a sys3 insert to fit my T-loc systainer.
I was wondering when the sys3 inserts would be available so that I could attempt to fit it to my t-loc?
In looking at the list of tools that’ll be shipping in sys3s (no DF500 listed), I’m guessing it’ll be a while still.
