Festool T-Loc Systainers Shipping Today

Sean, do you mean you've got a few new tools shipping in the T-Locs or that you also have empty Festool T-Locs too?

Things are slowly transitioning to the T-Loc. That's inclusive of a handful of tools like the OF 1400 and LS 130. Many of the accessories in systainers are now shipping in T-Locs.

All sizes of empties are available now.

Quick question for you Sean, do you know in the classic TS55 insert can be modified to fit the T-Loc?

Anybody noticed that the latest T12-15-18 drills now have build in led-lights and battery fuel-gauge meter?
The older models don't have these led-lights and meters.
See page 112+118 of the new 2011 catalogue.

I also noted that the T12/15/18V and C15-Li batteries are now 3.0 Ah (was 2.6).
The C12-Li batteries are now 1.5 Ah (was 1.3).
See page 124 of the new 2011 catalogue.

Even in Europe we have not seen these new models and batteries yet. The same fo the CT 48 dust extractor.
This is the first time that there are products which arrive earlier in N-America then in Europe (NAIE).

I have updated the message with a picture of the battery gauge.
I think it's located just at the back and above the battery.

Brice, my experience so far is that any classic insert can be trimmed a tiny tiny bit and they'll fit snugly into a t-loc.

Thank you, you'll likely be getting an order from me very soon.

When will you have the tanos blue latch systainer 4 and 5's? looks like as of now you only have 1-3?

They're on the boat over from Germany....just awaiting delivery.

Apparently Germans aren't the greatest sailors.

ROFL thats some funny junk!

Hi all,
That's very interesting to hear about the new T15+3 and T18+3 with built in diodelights,  and maybe clips?
Sorry, just don't like the t-loc though, but I guess it's unavoidable ;)
How much more heavy are the batteries?
I cannot really see the battery fuel-gauge meter; how does it look, work, and where is it placed?
Are there other news as to the centrotec system coming up? (we don't have the new catalogue here in Denmark yet).
Most appreciated.

Cheers,
Jacques.

Thanks alot Neeleman, that looks good.
I am wondering when they will get it here in Denmark????

Cheers,
Jacques.

Meh ...... I spend good money on the most expensive drill I ever bought and a year later there's an update that can do even more .......  [mad]

I second that Alex  ;)

On a sidenote, I got into cassetetapes again, and at least they are not developing a new supreme deck. Means more money can be moved over to Festools ;)

Cheers,
jacques.

I know how you feel but that's progress for you.  I really could use the belt clip though........

The belt clip will be sold from the EKAT catalogue for the C12/15-Li under number 478516. And only costs 4,5 euros.

If you are handy it should be possible to connect these under the batteries yourself.
Altough the latetst batteries have a recessed area underneath the battery.
It's because the belt-clip can slide from the left to the right side.

These batteries have code BPC. Where C stands for Clip.
You can aslo buy these latest batteries which come standard with a belt clip.
And only availbale on Li-Ion batteries in 12/15/18V.
