I'm just wondering if users of this kit can let me know which systainer their Ti 15 actually came in? I know it says a sys 3, but some shops say sys 2. Which is what mine arrived in today, despite the dealers ad saying it comes in a sys 3.

Mine came yesterday in a Sys 3 t-loc. With foam, so it will hold a drill and charger.

Yeah mine has the foam insert, it is the reason i went for the basic over the set. As i will be getting the c15 to go with it in the next week or so.

There seems to be plenty of room for it in the sys 2.
It actually suits me that it came in a sys 2 over a sys 3. As now i have room to add another tool that comes in a sys 1, such as a carvex.  [big grin]

TI 15 Basic version should come in a SYS 3 T-Loc systainer.
Otherwise the original foam insert meant for C/T15 and TI15 together doesn't fit.

Are you certain it came in a Sys2? A Sys3 is the size of 2 Sys1's stacked on top of each other. So you can check. i do not believe the insert would fit in a Sys 2.

I have just looked again and yes you are correct. It is a sys 3.  [embarassed]
I assumed ( wrongly) a sys 3 was 3 sys 1's stacked together.  [embarassed] [embarassed] I remember reading about how the sizes of the systainers are made to work in multiples etc, but forgot it. So it looks like i was supplied with the correct item. My bad.

Now another question rather than starting another thread. Does anyone know i can add an attic lid to the sys 3 without it interfering with Ti 15/ C15 inside?

Excellent  [big grin]
Thank you Garry. Is the lid available as a separate item over here? Or do i need to buy a sys 3 DF and move the insert to that?

The lid is available as a combination of spare parts, but ironically, ends up costing more than buying a SYS 3 TL-DF as accessories are discounted more than spare parts. I bought the attic SYS 3 and used the other SYS 3 for extra storage.

That's a pity, i wanted to add the lids to a fewvsystainers. However i'm not going to buy more systainers just to have the lid, as i don't have the room to store the old ones.

Hey guys, what is the TI-15 foam insert part number?
I could not find it on EKAT.
Thanks

Am I missing something here? Wasn't there supposed to be space for a 3rd battery in the same systainer? Or is that tucked away in the top left corner?

I bought a good second hand ti15 and i allready have the t15 so i wanna combine them into 1 systainer. I know i need the sys 3 and a foam insert. Does anyone know the part number of the foam insert.
