Festool tools and boats (old brochure)

That's not THAT old.  I remember looking thru that.

Oh how my (our) heart aches for the vac sys

Yes, I remember way back in 2009 when I was just a fresh young lad learning of the wonder of Festools...  [cool]

Young lad...  Hmmm.....  Seems your memory is a little fuzzy.  [wink] [poke]

I am in the middle of restoring a 1972 Formula 233 fiberglass boat and purchased a RAS115 during the sale last fall.  Before every time I had to grind fiberglass I would suite up in a Tyvek suite/spray sock and 3M 6900 full face mask/ gloves and would sweat to death and itch for days after. the entire area would look like it snowed/particles in the air.

With the RAS and my CT36 with a DD hooked up I can now grind for a hour with long pants, short sleeve shirt and a cheaper paper dust mask.  It is amazing what efficient dust collection an do. I have already convinced a close friend in the marine industry to buy the RAS115.  It's a game changer as far as I'm concerned and Festool should do a better job at targeting them.

I can believe he was just a young lad way back then.
That was the year I just turned 39------------- again. ::)
