I saw someone is selling a Festool TS65 saw and could not fine info on it. I see the 75 and 55 but not the 65. Does he have the number wrong or is it a discontinued model? Any info would be great.

Thanks,
Rick

i have one. it is a good saw, but discontinued. you still can get blades. smaller cut capacity, but good saw.

lets clear this up!

there is no ts 65.

there was an atf 55 and atf 65. very old models now!

the current festool models are ts 55 and ts 75.

hope this clears up any misunderstandings.

BTW, i see sellers on ebay trying to sell old models with the "ts" attached, i have emailed them to show them the error of their ways, but for some strange reason they never reply!
i feel sorry for the poor buggers who think they are buying a current model, and have no idea that they are buying old models.

maybe tallgrass could show us a photo of his ts 65, maybe its a limited edition!

regards, justin.

TS is german for "Tauch S?ge" that translates til plunge saw.

Festool (or FESTO) has never made a 65 mm plunge saw to the best of my knowledge. If it is the case it is WAY old stuff - say 8 - 10 years old at least.

(sorry for any german or english misspelling - my native is danish)

There was a 65mm plunge saw model AT 65 EB. Also a non-plunge (pendulum cover saw) called the AP65 EB. At lease that was how it was here in Australia about 2003.

Hi Anthony,

I am sure you are right.

But back in 2003 i think it was an old model? Wasn?t it a FESTO rather than a Festool? I know it is the same company, but they changed name back in 1999 og 2000 af i remember it right.

Thomas.

I recently listed and sold a AT65 E Plus(plunger). According to original reciepts was/is new sold 2001.
It was part of a larger estate purchase I made of Festools.
