Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can advise me on whether the Festool item below is the correct set of spare drill bits for my Centrotec Drill bit holders.  I've snapped a couple of them now and would like a set of replacement bits for all my Centrotec Drill bit Holders.

I would have assumed they are the correct bits with the small flat detent in the shaft to allow the hex nut to clamp them in. . . However the set seems to have drill bit sizes of 1-9mm and I am not aware of the centrotec holders coming in sizes below 3mm?

Festool 498981 19 Piece Twist Drill Bit Set HSS D 1 - 10mm

Many thanks.

That's a set of normal twist drills - not the replacement drills you are looking for.

I'm not aware of a "set" of replacement for each size - they sell in packs of 5 or 10 depending on size.

3.0mm dia, 33mm length - 493437 - Pack of 10
3.5mm dia, 39mm length - 493438 - Pack of 10
4.0mm dia, 43mm length - 493439 - Pack of 10
4.5mm dia, 47mm length - 493440 - Pack of 10
5.0mm dia, 52mm length - 493441 - Pack of 10
5.5mm dia, 57mm length - 493442 - Pack of 10
6.0mm dia, 57mm length - 493443 - Pack of 10
6.5mm dia, 63mm length - 493444 - Pack of 10
8.0mm dia, 75mm length - 495310 - Pack of 5
10.0mm dia, 75mm length - 495311 - Pack of 5

Yes the numbers Garry listed are the correct ones for the HSS set. You lucky guys on the far side can get them. Been dealing with this lately. Broke my 8 and 10 mm bits and festool won't sell replacements in the US.
The set you mention can with one of the Centrotec sets, don't remember which year. Don't know if it was sold separately though.
I use these bits a lot, they drill through I beams very nicely.

What a comprehensive reply. Thanks Gary!

Seems ridiculous that these aren't available in the US.
