Stumbled onto a Festool YT video illustrating the new CXS 12 and TXS 12. Appears the TXS 12 is only available in Europe? If so, will the TXS 12 be made available in the USA? When?
The TXS 12 has a full-size handle on it, unlike the CXS 12 which can only fit 3 fingers in the grip. Appears to be a better ergonomic design in that regard. The TSX 12 is also nearly an inch shorter in depth (front-to-back), at 13.3 cm vs. 15.6 cm for the CXS. The TSX 12 is taller though, at 22.2 cm vs. 17.7 cm for the CXS. Most of the time, drill/driver depth is a bigger problem than height. Both TSX 12 & CSX 12 are listed as same weight (0.7 Kg) on Festool UK site, although intuitively I'd think the TSX might be a touch lighter.
