Festool UK price increase and VAT

Not sure if anyone else is aware, but Festool are having a price increase in the UK in January. Couple that with the VAT going back up and you can add well over ?50 extra to the price of a Kapex for example. So if you are gonna buy something, buy it now!

Are prices here in the States going up this coming April?  I'm trying to take the plunge on a few more tools and this might be the kicker.

Given the track record I'd say that would be likely. The good news is we usually get plenty of notice so you can what you need buy before the increase.

I was just told it would be 6% on accessories and 3% on machines (plus the extra 2.5% VAT).

This is not verified in any way, just what the dealer said today.

There seems to be a rise every three months at the moment.....

I think there was Jan and April this year. Bit of a piss take really. I bet you it's being blamed on the Euro.
