Festool UK Service

I would also like to say I was really impressed with the service I received from festool uk.

Ts55 picked up on a Tuesday and I had the saw back on a Friday morning in perfect working condition.

Also I was kept upto date with emails and texts.

Im not exactly sure what was wrong with it. I think it was the plug it on the tool. As the tool kept shutting off and I had to fool with the plug it , twist it hard toward the tightening position to get it started again.

Taking to a friend who post here he said their was a known issue with the plug it. Either way it could have been to the plug it being bad or it could of happened when I dropped the tool. Who knows.

I just know they are getting it back quickly  and can get back using it.

There is ample opportunity to have a pop at Festool in other threads so it is a shame this one was hijacked. A post about quality service is often about individuals going the extra distance so I can fully understand why Festool employees might get disgruntled.

I would also like to add my praise to Festool service.
My Ts55r plug it connector broke (in the machine) and Festool arranged collection from my place of work by 12 midday that day and delivered to me a new loan tool by 10am the following day. My tool was fixed and returned a few days later and collection of the loan tool at the same time.
I did phone to say what great service it was and that is just one reason I would continue to purchase Festool products.
