John,

There is an open day at Healy's today if that is any help, the festooll rep is allways there to answer questions.

Yes I'd forgotten, I'd planned on vistiting to ask about drills anyway
I have a problem drilling some pilot holes and bolting into an RSJ for a wardrobe I'm building - my Makita has pretty much given up the ghost on it & the big power drill seemed to skid & burn more than cut.

So the timing was excellent - got to ask about the torque on the new C series and revised T series, as ever the demos were good.  In the end the deciding factor was no delivery dates for the C series.

Got the job done with the T series I bought pretty impressed...

I think there's a difference between asking questions and getting good training - it's years decades since I had any & I'm adapting a lot of things - most are probablty fine, but I pick up a fair amount here, so I guess a days Festool specific training would be really handy

try buying ground steel or high carbon steel bits and use a cutting paste or lube

Hi John

its been a long time since this has been discussed any news?

Don't know how I've only just seen this, but anyway I'd like to add my name to the 'interested, and would pay towards' list.

Like Woodguy 7 I'm a bit remote, but the other end; at the tip of the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall!

Axminster would be a good location for me, or even Festool UK.
