how long have we known about the of 2200...................................................i think its a few months

festool uk have eventually .............  bothered ............ to put it on the website

AS ALWAYS..........................

festool uk dont give a monkeys @@@k  about their british users 

OR

their potential sales

but seeing as they cant be bothered about the use of the internet or this site

why the hell should i be so cross................... when i know this is STANDARD way they treat us

i dont know..................... but silence, miss information and denial

Hi Tom. This from another Tom also in the UK.

I'm afraid I share your sentiments exactly - these tools are not the cheapest ans whilst I love them dearly (!) I'm afraid their service is poor to say the least.

Keep up the rant.

When the Kapex came out, I drove to England to get one - the French didn't want to sell me one.  If you are unhappy with Festool UK I suggest a shock cure through exposure to Festool France.  I have finally found a local supplier that does just that, is helpful and knowledgeable and even helps out on price sometimes, but that's after 10 years of "suffering" - I even complained to Tooltechnics France to no avail!
The only trouble is, a helpful and efficient retailer means I spend more....
