Festool US PDF Catalogue -why not hot link videos?

I am very impressed with the new US Festool Catalogue. Some great workshop photographs.

A future suggestion would to make the videos listed at the beginning of most sections actually hot linked to their source. For example, press on the video about rails suggested and up it comes without having to refer to Festool US website.

All,

A large file so here is the 2014 Festool USA Catalog with video links, web page links, linked table of contents, and bookmarks.

Some of URL references had changed since the printing or creation, so I have updated them. If any of the web pages change addresses the links in the PDF will not work.

Edited to update the link to Drop Box because of a security issue at Drop Box.

I had prepared this earlier and posted to Acrbat.com but that has a poorer download interface so I created a drop box account ant posted a copy there.

Since I have the full Professional version there are a number of things that I can do that users of Reader or other PDF readers can not.

I hope everyone can use it.

Now if I can work out how the set the sandpaper and jigsaw blade selectors as a PDF.

Now I have to start setting up my MFT/3 table and figure out how to make a storage/transport box for it.

I received an email from Drop Box about a security issue with shared links and personal data and how they have disabled all the links.

Because the catalog has no personal information in it here is the Festool 2014 Festool USA Catalog with electronic book marks, linked table of contents to their pages within the PDF, and links to Festool's site and videos as needed.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

If Festool has any issue with this being publicly posted, I can remove the document and if Festool wants to use it they are free to download it.

Attempting to download I get error 404 message.

The catalog is the same as the first time around.

Here is the link to a copy without spaces in the name.

"404" means site not found. I expect there could be an issue with a DSN server somewhere. I have seen this type of error reported by users in Japan trying to access US sites.

Unfortunately the catalog is 15MB in size and cannot be attached to a post and should not be emailed.

Nah, you'd never even get the request responsible for returning the 404 to go anywhere if DNS wasn't resolving. Something is genuinely not where it's expected to be.

Even when logged out from Drop Box I have no issues accessing the site and file.

I hope the user like this.

I have tested it on an android tablet and all of the features work. There is no special coding for any of these features so it should work on any device capable of reading the PDF format. The Table of Contents might open automatically on mobile, so one may need to open that to see the bookmarks. Also one needs to be connected to a network for the links to work.
