. you asked a very odd question where you didnt inform us of the unique situation you are in . if you had stated that your saw was not the same as the current style of ts55s you would have gotten a more constructive answer.

OK, let me explain. I was running late for work and posted my question rather hurriedly and didn't give full information. I've had my vac ant saw for 8 to 10 years now. The port on my saw is square and the hose is round. Never having connected the vac to the saw before I wasn't sure if it need an adapt0r or not.
I use my saw very little, I still have the original blade on it. I don't do a lot of field work and I have a Felder slider in the shop so the TS55 mostly sits in it box. I finally have a need to make some cuts in a house and so the quick question on how to connect it to the saw. Ya, I finally figured out you just have to force a round peg into a rectangle hole.
