Festool vecturo adapter not releasing

Hi Set,
It's the original adapter. When I lock it it works fine but when I open it then the problem starts. It won't release the adapter. I need to force it off with a flat screwdriver. When I want to change blades. I went out and bought the in supercut adapter and it is the same problem with that also. The release washer inside the housing doesn't seem to be releasing withought force.

Hi,
OK, so this is the regular Festool blade attachment mechanism? I think I was being confused by "adapter" . It should just come out. About the most I have ever needed to do was give the blade a little flex to help pop it out. But no real force. I would give service a call.

I had the same problem with a fein supercut, which uses the same mechanism.
I was afraid, that if I lubricated the pin, the blades wouldn't lock properly anymore; so I used a flat screwdriver or the back of another blade to pry it loose for a few weeks... when I finally got so annoyed I sprayed it anyway; problem fixed, and the blades still locked perfectly. (I can't remember if I used wd40 or dry silicone lube, but it worked)
