festool vecturo - blade is stuck and not releasing

I have a Festool vecturo (18v) and the blades are not releasing, it locked perfectly but now I can get it to release the blade. the pin on top of the head that normally depresses is stuck.

any ideas anyone?

I am out of warranty and really can't afford the head.

    I am sure someone will have some thought on this problem. If you can add a picture that may help with answers.
