Festool Vecturo Oscillating Multitool Release Date

Does Anyone know when Festool will be releasing its version of the
Feintool Multimaster? I had been told that it will be called the Vertoro?
  I need to get a new feintool and would like to wait if it will be released soon.
  Fein has dropped the price of the supercut by 400$ so I am assuming that
the release date will be soon. anyone know?

It's not a copy of the Multimaster but the Supercut and it's called Vecturo OS 400 EQ.
In Europe it's probabely been delayed until September 2014 because it doesn't show up on the European Festool sites which were updated on April 1st.
Might take until 2015 before it hits your shores.

I was always under the impression that Festool does not copy but only introduce a similar product when they can make one with an improvement to what others have in the marketplace.  If that is correct, I wonder what would be the improvement in this case over the SC.

Insofar as whether it will be coming to NA, it may in fact be so and is maybe why Fein has just lowered the price in NA on the SC to the $400 range in anticipation of such.

The plunge base looks interesting.  Wonder if this accessory would work with a Supercut.  Interesting that DC does not seem to be integrated with the tool.  Maybe an option for sanding?

Fein also just released a new version, the Multimaster FMM 350 Q:

Pricing in Germany US$ 350,- plus tax

They say 50 % less noisy and up to 70% less vibration

The old FMM 250 is now reduced starting at US$ 170,-

The question is if the Vecturo is worth the extra money?

looks like the festool multitool will have bars similar to the domino, and is supposed to be available as of may 2014,
  with rumors of it being delayed until september 2014. anyone have any info on that?

I wonder if the delay is about adding DC, it's the first thing you would expect on any festool even if in this case it's not the easiest tool to implement DC on.
When i am working indoors i often find myself holding the vac hose next to the cutter, on some materials like plaster it makes a dust cloud.
