Hi,

I have a 110v Kapex and a 240v Ts 75 and have just bought the Ctl 26E dust extractor and boom arm in 240v. I bought the extractor in 240v as the Ts 75 creates more dust then the Kapex and i use it more often. The only thing is, i want to use the one extractor for both.
I dont want to have to reach down and turn it on every time i want to cut something.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.  [big grin]

Cheers

If I understand correctly, reduction transformers are used commonly in England. Can't you use a small splitter of the CT and use one outlet for a VRT?

Yes just plug a trannie into the outlet of the ct and run the kapex off that. I do the same thing with a mini and sanders

set out to buy 1 voltage and stick to it. I buy 110v only now and i still have the odd 240v stuff and its a pain having to get a different cord out etc all the time, If i where you i would sell the kapex and get a 240v verson, i know it will cost you but will be better in the long run
