Festool Warranty

Hello,
i have a question: if i buy a tool on my firm, and after 1 year i close the firm, would i have the warranty on the tool or no. Because, i know that if the first owner of the tool sells the tool or just gives it away the second owner cannot have or take advantage of the warranty of the tool.

  Welcome to the forum!  [smile]  I don't know about France but in North America the warranty transfers with the tool.

Hello Seth, I have another question about warranty:
If I buy a Festool tool in France, and after that I move to US, will the Festool USA accept the warranty of the tool that was bought in France?

Everybody can answer the question.

It doesn't seem practical...

That would mean that Festool Service NA would have to stock service parts for all of the other style of tools.

Aside from that, we don't have but a small selection of the tools offered elsewhere - he says, "tongue in cheek".

Tools are warrantied in the country in which they are purchased. Of course, the US and Canada are covered by Festool USA.
