A couple of years ago, the Festool recon site had a christmas sale where one of the items available for purchase was a set of grey Festool work gloves. I've been wanting to pick up another pair or two for a while now (they're great!), but have been unable to find them anywhere - anyone has a clue as to where they can be purchased?

Here's what they look like:

oh dear god

I've used a lot of different work gloves over the years - these are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time, provide a great grip, and were just $15.  8)

I use the FastCap Skins Gloves HD which I purchase from my local Woodcraft.  They're only about $ 8 a pair.  They look almost identical to what you have posted.

I got a pair in a goody bag, at a tool fair a long time ago. In honesty didn’t think much of them. To be fair though, it depends on the type of work one does. In my job they might have lasted a morning. I gave them to a plumber, who thought they were great.

There are currently some for sale on ebay UK £9.00 per pair but, no mention of international shipping.

Edit:
Just noticed he does international posting, and says make offer. Maybe you could get a deal on more than one pair?

The ones on eBay don't look anything like the gloves I have - they look like they're made from wool? Mine are some sort of textured, rubberized material - probably heavy-duty latex.

No problem, you’re welcome  [poke]

Unfortunately I had to work today, otherwise I could have spent the rest of the day searching for the right gloves for you.

Thanks - those are not the gloves I'm looking for, which should be fairly obvious based on the picture I posted at the beginning of the thread.

Better?  [poke]

Yes much better, I was almost out the door to work this morning, when I saw them, and didn’t study the photo. Which is also why I never noticed the international shipping.
I was just trying to help.

My apologies for coming off as snarky - I do appreciate you trying to help.

Festool branded gloves, glasses etc are typically made by UVEX. look at their gloves, they have lots and I’m sure you’ll find the equivalent, minus the festool logo.

Hey, no problem, if I come across a pair of the ones you’re looking for, I’ll post a link up here.
Good luck with your search too  [wink]

Well this got the better of me, so I did a bit more searching around, and managed to get the following info.

The company that made the gloves are UCi
Their website is here:https://www.ultimateindustrial.co.uk/

The glove type are Nitrilon Max 1-D

Apparently, the company will supply the gloves with any company branding on them.
The gloves must be better than I thought, as they seem to be as rare as rocking horse s**t!  [blink]

That's amazing - thanks a ton.

You’re going to send him on a confusing journey.  Our Honeywell Uvex safety glasses and other such stuff company  is entirely different from the rest of the world’s Uvex safety glasses and other such stuff company.  I don’t know the history of it, but it is a thing.

Well I guess I now know the why.
