Festool/ Zobo forstener set

Hi,
Does anyone know if the original set of 5 forstner set (in grey small case) is available anywhere uk? I had a set stolen on site, have replaced with the new set in systainer but these are not the same and nowhere near as good in my opinion. Would love to replace with the same set as before is possible!

If you want the Zobo bits you will probably have to put together your own set.  At least they are more readily available on your side of the Atlantic but they are pricey indeed.  Made the Festool pricing for the set seem cheap in comparison.  If I were in your shoes so to speak, I would also look at FAMAG Bormax bits which are available in sets.  Fine Tools carries both brands.  Here is a link to the FAMAG sets:  https://www.fine-tools.com/bormax-sets.html.

I got into Festool right when these started to get scarce and I've been on the hunt for them ever since. Wish they'd bring them back!

Don't know how it happened but I ended up with 2 sets of these when they came out. I set is stashed somewhere with other stuff. I come across it from time to time.
The other set I use regularly. Love these bits. Great for drilling conduit and copper pipe holes. I'd buy another set if they came back.

The set you speak of in the mini sys (205749) is the only one I’m aware of new currently, and NAINA, as it wasn’t cheap. I also wanted the same set recently to fill the gap in an installers set. Problem is, only way I’ve found it is in another installers set #MO700, of which there’s a used one in the ether.

Head over to the Axminster Tools website. The Fisch ones are a match for any Forstner I've ever used.

I cannot speak to the specific product, but I'll mention that Axminster has a pretty broad level of support for Centrotec. I first learned about them from Peter Parfit's videos on various Centrotec third party bits and bobs.
