How can you tell if it’s metric or imperial? I didn’t see it in the emails or the website to purchase the recon.

Look at the part numbers, they're usually listed.

Okay Festool you are getting a little spammy with the recon sale emails.

How many different models of circular saw did/do they make??

I think yesterday I received 4 emailsfor different models the same  cordless saw

They have TS55, TS75, HK55, TSC55, and HKC55, then they have set and basic versions.

I'm up to 20 emails in total in the last three days.  I remember Tyler saying the emails would be very low volume.

Yes, that was the initial jist of the recon announcement.

But , I think Tyler also made another announcement that they would be trying a different approach for the holiday.  I took that to mean more stuff was coming quicker, though that was neither articulated or even hinted at.

Who knows, maybe on Cyber Monday there will be something different?  Or nothing at all?

I certainly can't find any reason to complain about too MANY notifications, considering the troubles at roll-out. Those problems also seem to have been solved successfully.

The way it's working now is far better than past years, and is making the discounted tools more widely available.

Has the sale finally concluded ?

I jumped on the first one that came up! Luckily, it was the perfect set or I would've kicked myself after seeing all the other variations. I already have the TSC kit w/55" track (and a 32"), but wanted to get a corded version since I almost always use it with a  CT SYS and don't take advantage of the auto-on feature. The new 55" track I'll keep pristine for fine cuts or joining with the others.

Aside from the fact that these refurbished tools used to be listed at 25-40% off, I'll take a cold 25% for the few additional back-up tools I want.

Plus the metric & imperial versions. I think I saw some of the original metric versions yesterday.

I haven’t seen anything else either. I would imagine it’s over for a while.  I missed the CT 36 E. They must have only had a couple. It didn’t last long.  Does anybody know how they calculate the tax?  It definitely isn’t my state tax rate. Haha

During their blitz last weekend, I only received emails for part of the items. But get all the other regular ones. Strange system by far. I almost wonder if a lot of it is actually not automated to explain all the inconsistencies. Programming is consistent, humans are not.

There is a Kapex for sale.

Just checked, I received email about the Kapex at 10:13 ET.

My notification came in at 9:12, almost 20 minutes after the recon started up again.

Last week on the popular items (eliminate Kapex, Planex, Conturo, Carvex), I'd receive the notices AFTER the item was already sold. That's the reason I started using the "refresh the festoolrecon.com" method.

With a Kapex, it doesn't matter when you receive the notice, there'll always be an extra one available...not so much with the DF 500/700.
