iphone, ipad and i think macbook pro

Me thinks MBPro maybe not. Mine will not acknowledge Apple 🍎 Pay which makes sense because it doesn’t have fingerprint recognition technology.

So Michael it’s iPhone or iPad.  [crying]  [crying]  [crying]

So I gave in and pull the plug on a PDC 18 drill set. 50% off. Not bad.
Will see................

Wow... I’ve been duly shamed...mea culpa, mea culpa. So what you’re saying is that I need to quit squandering my hard earned cash on Festool products and start to update my computer system instead. Well it was new in 2010...........

Not so fast. Mr [member=44099]Cheese[/member]  you need to upgrade to the latest model with the new Touch bar at the top of the keyboard.

Ron you cut me to the quick. Notice my lowered head level...I am not worthy...I am not worthy.

Saw the CT36 pop open and actually bought it.  Great timing as my shop vac, enclosed for noise abatement, overheated and warped the housings.  Adding to my TS55 and “special” RO sander.

I'd still be using my 2010 MB Pro if it didn't have a motherboard problem. Random total shutdowns made working in CAD a real headache. Found out the program didn't actually save (even when I told it to) until the program was formally Quit. When the machine crashed whatever I'd done in CAD was lost. Barely squeaked through the summer of 2016 by quitting every time I wanted to save.

[member=3515]RJNeal[/member] I think you meant you “pulled the trigger” on a PDC drill set.  I’d hate to think you pulled the plug on it with the no refunds policy 😉

[member=66585]ManipulatingWood[/member]. You got me.
It’s kinda hard to pull a plug on a cordless tool.
Rick.

Anyone had experience between the old vs new version?  I have the older version and just curious if this good opportunity to upgrade and see a significant difference or if I should stay with what I have.

Thanks,
Gerald

Have both - don't really find a huge difference.  The new one has an edge protector.  The old one is a little smaller.  I use them for different functions (my older one is now mostly a drywall sander and also sometimes gets switched to RTS form) but really I don't think there's a major difference unless things like the new hose connector are important to you.

Thanks for your feedback- I would actually use it mostly without the edge protector (and I hate the new dust extraction connection) so I'm best just to keep what I have.  I love this sander and use it often!

Gerald
