Festool's 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

Yep, a few times.

Are you asking if they honor it, they sure do with  no question  and in my case no return shipping. That may be an individual sellers decision, I am not sure about that. Someone here can comment on that.

I know some sellers do not offer free shipping on small purchases and others do. Are the sellers eating the shipping in these cases?

You bet, Nick.

Any time you see "free" shipping, either the seller is absorbing the cost, as is the case with most Festool dealers, or they are jacking up the price to account for the shipping and handling costs.

Nothing is free in business.

Wow a few dealers I buy from are eating some shipping fees to keep me happy then and I mean on some small purchases!

Does the dealer pay shipping when the stuff comes straight from Indiana though?

Thanks for the responses.  I haven't taken anything back yet, in fact... I just came home with the RO 150 sander ;D
I now have 10 Festool boxes cleverly hidden in the back of the garage/wood shop.  I discovered something else tonight, the wife doesn't know tools.  She sees black with green and noise, the list has grown so much in such a short time.

Oh jeez good luck because once you start using one you will want to break them all out.

Sooner or later she is going to know somethings up!I am so glad my wife allows me to get tools without much trouble at all.

Make that box number 11.  Decided the DTS 400 EG was a perfect companion to the RO 150 ;D

Hi TOm-

I agree;  no free lunch.

I've always wondered....  does the refund come out of the dealer's pocket, or from Festool?  Just wondering who pays...

Thanks.

Festool mostly, unless the dealer has a lot of returns and then it can negatively impact their relationship with Festool.
