OK I am just kidding, but when I checked out my local dealer and the new Festool Test Center today I found this obviously new MFT/3 attachment.

The guys in the store couldn't tell me if this is just for display in stores, a new product or if it will be available at all (not on Festool.de or in the catalogue)! Of course it looks like Festool manufactured and one could assume such a practical thing will be added to the catalogue.

As you can see there are two trays that fit under the MFT/3 and you can put two Sysports on each side of the MFT or use it for other things. I will call Festool on Monday and try to find out if this will be introduced to the market any time.

I like it and would like to see it in North America but we don't have those tiny sys ports unfortunately. Guess we could make our own with our Festools

I wouldn't get my hopes up yet Festoller, Festool dealers always have some special set up with a MFT to demonstrate the tools, they've had them for years and those were never released to the public.

Besides not being available in the US, I think the price of these Sysports is just to high to become a blockbuster sales item. Of course they are built to still stand with all trays out and since they are manufactured very solid and heavy they are very ridgid. Still I like my DIY ply Sysports, but the tray would be a nice addition even for those el cheapo SysPlyports.

Alex, are you talking about these trays, because I've never seen it on another MFT/3 display.

i have always seen these in the festool shop, it didn't actually struck me they were special.

i dont like this type of arrangment. besides the astronomical price tag (probably 800 -1000 euros) the mft syport is best done with a cabinet for the tools (ON PULL OUT DRAWERS) and the mft on top just sitting there.
the mft is designed to be a mobile table(i know lots of people never move them) and having all that extra stuff to remove first defeats the purpose.
this is perfect for a shop situation where having one of the excellent syport carts seen on the fog would show up weaknesses in the festool version and show people how to make a better solution than they offer

Totally agree with Alan,
If I have that setting in my garage, it would drive me crazy in no time when trying to move my table just to get thing out of the garage.  That is the main reason I came out with my MFT /Sysport version.
