Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

A Sys5 cyclone bin with an retractable cyclone that flips out and into the systainer when not in use for transport and is attachable to the CT vacs systainer clamps.

id like an impact or drill  that would have two trigers ,or a button to switch direction but wont stay in reverse.
i was rescrewing olddrywall to a ceiling with no stud finder. some screws would miss and i would have to switch direction. not a big deal but is very anoying and slow on a big job.
if there was a drill with trigers for both directions you would be a lot faster

Heavy duty impact guns, those with a 1/2" drive, such as those used by mechanics have a double trigger.  Press the top you go forward, press the bottom you go backward.

You just need to find a 1/4" chuck version of this.

I have not personally seen one.

Best,
Daniel

A second centrotec chuck that's 'red' or any other colour that's not green, that takes normal 1/4 'snappy' drill bits for those who don't buy in to the centrotec's 'no runout' drill bits

I've been using snappy for the last four years and love the quick change system, but I've bever had any issues with run out

id like a sander like a flader or brush sander , so that you could use it on round stair banisters etc free hand. the brushes would follow the shape nicely

I wish that the three sander above were just ONE sander with three  inter-changeable bases. The motors are the same on all three. So just make three different bases, that can be bolted on.

I wonder if you could buy one sander. Then buy the other two bases a repair parts? Then you could get all three sanders function for the price of one sander (and two repair parts).

A built in extraction system on the TS55 that could be used for only several small cuts eg: fitting a kitchen worktop. Like a tiny battery operated onboard extractor that could be fitted or removed easily. Crazy I know but sometimes to do just one or two cuts is so labourious on site. I would run out and buy one tomorrow if it was possible to do. Would work great on other saws too. Maybe the air flow already coming out of a saw could be utilised? Heard modern cars can now utilise braking friction to charge onboard batteries!!!! so anything is plausable. ;)

Make the 498528 STANDARD on the end of the 36m hose. There is really no reason to have two different size tool ends on the hoses.

How about a surgically replaced right (or left) arm that comes complete with plug-it power and DC ?

That'd be cool - we could become "The Green Borg"  [big grin]

Greg, Where have you been, buddy?  [smile]  You're adding in the ETS, which would be the same method.  Scroll down to post #6 to see how to join them.

Sorry Ken I missed that thread. But Three for one is better then two for one. [big grin]

I have seen people just place a dust collection bag (like used on sanders)on the dust collection port for a quick cut.

.

i have a dc dag in the ts55 sys all the time . it is off of my dewalt chop saw which has virtually  0 dust colection potential.
it works great on the ts55 for a few cuts or if you are outside and dont want to set up the vac.
it doesnt work well with mdf as is tends to restict the air  flow and it builds up in around the blade  housing.

I'll say it again!  And again untill festool makes one!  I want a god dam cordless TS55r!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll up that a bit Zap and request a hydrogen fuel cell for the Syslite [cool]

I want a suction cup (a smaller gecco lever type) that would attach to the RO90 in orbital only mode.    the lever would be right in front of the sander and latch to one side prefferably down to the left.  Its purpose is to fully bed tile in thinset.
