Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

I wish Festool made:

- A 6 ah high-power battery using the new 21700 cells to replace the 18650 cell 5 ah battery
- A new HKC with a rafter hook on it
- An 18 v planer
- An 18 v trim router
- A CID C-shaped impact driver paired with the C 18
- A battery charging station in a systainer
- All their plug-in tools brushless

-A pin nailer

-TKS80 in USA

-shelf/systainer mount system for under the MFT

-dolly for MFT

-Jointer/planer combo unit

-systainer battery charger and/or power station in the USA

-an MFT vice/table extension attachment

- A stair climbing wheel assembly for SYS RB

- Box Planer with MW1000 or MFT integration

- TID 18 with oil impulse for quieter impact driving in client homes

- Dust collection shroud for AGC18, similar to that already integrated into RG130

- Mortised door hinge jig with integrated clamps and alignment, similar to that of Benxhdogs UK, and designed for use with MFK 700

- Light attachment (similar to recently released OF1010) for OF1400

- TKS 80 or CS 70 with sawstop technology in US market

- Syslite Duo ... not sure why it was discontinued; great product and cordless lights can't replace its capability

- Plug-it adapter for non-festool products to connect to plug-it cords on boom arms or permanently stationed

- One-handed RSC18 (Hackzall concept)

- Eligibility for discounts during vendor sale events

I wish festool made a pigtail plug that I could leave on my TS-55. The location on the tool makes it difficult to connect and disconnect.

After having the CSC Sys 50 for over a year and my track saw and mft style cutting station; I find myself using my 10” makita miter saw less and less these days. In fact since the start of 2025 I have only used it on two jobs- both time installing 3-1/4 drown. And being I’m spoiled now and able to move around a table saw in a Systainer- I wish festool made a miter saw- even if it’s an 7-1/4 inch - which fits in a Systainer.

I have even been thinking of spending more time honing my skills cutting crown with a circular saw just to gain back the footprint the 10” makita takes up in my van.

If you are really thinking about honing your skills cutting crown with a circular saw, as a guy who was trained as a finish carpenter, I wish you well on your endeavors and look forward to updates on your progress. :D

Thanks for the advice! So my new plan is to refuse jobs requiring crown! 😃

Yeah they used to make the Plug-It pigtails for conversion of non-Plug-It tools. You might be able to source one... but since they are out of production for so long... might become very hard.

Festool should make a "systainer air compressor"
Festool Nail guns
There are a ton of options for Systainer compressors. What are you hoping Festool would do different besides the Systainer / handle color?

More centrotec 100mm bit packages. I'm pretty furious trying to figure out what to get.
I am a centrotec fan but I find the bit options in the US to be limited. I got one of the installer kits which is nice and covers many needs. If the installer kit does not have what I need I find myself switching chucks and grabbing something from Dewalt or Milwaukee.
