Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

A Schneider compressor in a systainer is already available from TTS (owner of Festool/Tanos/Protool/Schneider).

In Holland there is also a non TTS compressor with the looks of a Festool systainer.

Unfortunately, that compressor is really, REALLY LOUD.

I wish they expand their cordless line with a  small cordless circular saw. I don't want to have different type of battery to charge if I can help it. This would expand nicely their cordless system.

An attachment for the tools that hooks up to the tool in order to change vac speed without going to vac.  Used from sanding on low to sawing, routing on high....  Also I would like crown detents on my kapex like hitachi.  Thats kind of a tool improvement but still would be nice.

Really cool idea!

Here's the link for the product listed above. Compressor in Systainer 4

Unfortunately, the system is rated at 90DB....wayyy too loud!

Rolair should look at putting their excellent, and QUIET JC10 in a systainer package like that one!

+1 on the thickness planer that fits in the CMS.

Also a small drum sander for the CMS simular to the small jet one.

Also a long systainer to hold 1400 guide rails, make a kit with some clamps connectors etc.

I don't have a cms (yet!), but I would like to see a compact power feed that came fitted in a systainer.

Sure this has probably already been said but I didn't get all the way thru the 24 pages!
I would love a smooth ct hose that didn't catch on everything within an 11' radius of the vac.
We fitted some high end Hans grohe showers before Xmas with smooth hoses that were just as flexible as a standard hose
Come on festool I know you can do it

I'd like to see a planer, thickness unit, like the man from Queensland said. Something that will get the wood to the size I need, and then I can cut, shape and sand it with my Festool tools.

Christopher,
After a loosing my temper with the hose for the nth time today I gave in and ordered a flexiPET sleeve. In an odd coincidence (or maybe not) the Oger colour looks as if it was made for festool extractors! I will post some picks when it arrives.
Back to the original issue. Festool, being as clever as they are, surely can find a way to make a flexible hose if they really wanted to. Would not a few strands of copper weaved into a hose sleeve during manufacture have much the same effect as the coiled wire in the hose?

So I will rebuff. I would like a smooth anti-static non-kink, flexible extractor hose

I would like to see a vac in a systainer similar to the Schneider air compressors so I could have it on my sysroll and just have one cart to roll in on my small jobs. Now that would be slick.

One of our members here who I consider a great friend told me that he had taken a mini, flipped it over and bolted it to the top of a systainer.  That allowed him to have storage below and with the Mini upside down on a Sysroll stack he saved one trip in and out.

Just passing on some knowledge.

Though this is a N/A site and doesnt realy support the CMS saw module or Prescio,

Id like to see a fence for the CMS similar to the Beismeyer or Unifence that has a single locking point on the head of the fence.

SYSTAINER INSERT TRAYS WITH SOME KIND OF HANDLE SO I COULD PULL THEM UP EASIER WHEN I HAVE A FEW STACKED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER

I recently got a couple of the Festool centrotec 6mm masonry bits (I didn't buy the set, just the 6mm) and they're great. I've used them with my PDC18 for drilling tiles (awesome results, apart from the water pipe I drilled into [embarassed] ) without the hammer action, and for drilling a few different types of stone/brick, both with and without the hammer action.

There's just one problem with them - they're WAY too short. You can drill a hole about 60mm deep, but that's your lot!

I want Festool to make longer versions, ideally about 150-200mm long. The existing ones are fine if you're drilling straight into the wall without anything in the way, but if you want to drill through a cabinet, through plasterboard that's been dot & dabbed, and into the masonry behind, you've got no chance!!!
