Have you had a look at Schneider Airsystems guns? They are part of the Tooltechnik group that Festool belongs to as well.

I know there was a similar post before but I wish Festool made a remote start for the CTs.  I'd be happy if it were as simple as a button switch you could connect to the Plug It cord.  If they made  a remote and a cord operated switch I'd buy both.

First, [welcome] to the FOG!

You are not the first person to ask for or suggest this. It can be quite an annoyance, can't it?

Check out this thread from 2011. It has a suggestion that might help you in the meantime?

I wish Festool made a Centrotec one-hand screw shooter telescoping magnetic bit holder ('extendable sleeve') that guides and holds the screw for one handed screwing... like Makita has (784814-A / 784812-A).

Modified Festool CT wing with a dust pan to collect dust from drilling or cutting drywall electric boxes out. Part of the vacuum power being diverted to catch the dust falling in the dust pan. Dust pan would be slightly convex to better catch the dust.

Some decent plug cutters with matching drill bits for the centrotec system. Starting with a 12mm version as most only go up to 10mm.

Brilliant idea - I have tried so many that just don't live up to my expectation.

Was just looking at the Vecturo and wishing it had dust collection.

Perhaps festool could make a version of a CT Wing that split the suction (internally) and would both stick itself to a wall and have a reduced flow dust collection on its top edge.  You would position it under (ideal) or to the side of the area you were working on and it could pick up as much as possible.

Neither the Vecturo nor drills are huge dust creators but 75% of the dust would be better than none.

Agree, and i would hope that they did make their own rather than just having rebranded ones from elsewhere.  [smile]

Agreed, generally you'd expect Festool to come up with something better. Which, in this case of the Fein Supercut, is rather difficult to do. So that's why I think they decided not to mess with the innards, but just add some features on the outside of an already perfect machine.
