Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

Ah - I'd forgotten the telescopic frame... the heyday of the Classic Systainer pre-dates my 'Festoolism' but I had seen that still offered on a vendor's site quite recently.

Are the Classic Systainers themselves still available anywhere?
(A 'SYS 6' would work well for my portable Karcher steam cleaner, and also for some car-related stuff.)

Hard to tell, the Classic and T-Loc line existed some years together but nowadays most shops only sell T-Locs.
Here is a German shop who still sells Classic systainers, including the telescopic frame: Systainer-classic
Strangely the light grey one sells for €99,99 while the anthracite one sells for €24,69.

There is also another German shop which sells a lot of Classic Systainers on ebay.co.uk: Werkzeugwelten

Or you can try to find some private auctions on ebay because the Classic is offered there frequently.

I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I really wish Festool made a jobsite radio with bluetooth functionality.

In the old days there was a Classic Systainer telescopic frame TKR-SYS (491631) with a height of 107 mm.
With this you could make your own SYS 6, alas for a Classic one, there is no T-Loc version yet.

What would be great would be one of these telescopic frames that sit atop a sys-toolbox high enough that one could then stack t-loc systainer on top. Currently when I go go work sites the sys-toolbox Systainers have to be the top stacking systainers and sometime it would nice to have an option to stack the systainers differently when transport on my Syscart or CT36AC.

When I've got time I'll have to probably make such an interface.

I'd like to see a small jointer / planer. A benchtop portable model which could be carried to a jobsite.

Something about 8" wide

Of course, it would have to work well with the Festool dust extractors

I'd like this.  I have a 6" jointer, and a 13" planer.  The jointer is too narrow occasionally.  The planer is often wider than needed (although I do love my planer -- a DeWalt DW735).  An 8" combo unit would seem about ideal for what I build.  I seldom buy lumber wider than 8".

And a Festool lathe!  My lathe creates more mess than any other tool.  If Festool could build a decent lathe with dust extraction, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

A heated sweatshirt or jacket. Similar to the Milwaukee M12 sweatshirt/jacket line. I spend a ton of time in a cold garage workshop and it would be awesome to have a heated jacket from my favorite tool brand.

That stuff is out there, I don't see them messing with it.

I do see where there is a need for a nice OSS with excellenct DC, same with a disc sander and I will throw two off the wall ones out there.  A nice compact euro style tenoner (wouldn't have to look real far) and a mortiser to compliment it, maybe a chain/chisel unit.

Since I am new and just bought my first Festool on Monday. I am just starting out in woodworking as a hobby.
I wish they made a Table saw, belt sander, someone to help teach me the ropes, oh I could go on and on.

They actually do make a belt sander. Its just NAINA (not available in north America). Their table saw is the TS saw basically. What was your first purchase?

And they also make table saws, but again NAINA.

And a big WELCOME to the FOG to you.  I can see you already fit right in.

Mike A.

Since we're doing Systainers now ;) , I could really go for taller versions of the Midi, like a Midi 4 and 5. The extra width is mighty handy some times.
