Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

Well, I didn't read the whole thread, but I did see some reciprocating saw requests. I'd like one with interchangeable heads, most notably one with an offset head so I can cut right next to a wall or another piece of wood. That would be the bomb for breaking down pallets.

Also, perhaps some metal working tools, like an angle grinder, bench grinder, and whatever else people that do that sort of stuff do. A lot of us hobbyists also work in metal (not me, but other people), and it might be a good crossover market. Of course, make it for us in the Ewe Essay. Maybe a bagless CT for that line so the hot metal doesn't catch the bag on fire.

Longer 8mm and 10mm cutters for the DF700 joiner.  I want to be able to do through mortises for leg to apron joints and the 8 and 10mm cutters would be ideal if they were about 25 to 30mm longer than the stock cutters.

Does Festool have a refrigerated Systainer? It could have a 120v plug or run on an 18v battery. They could call it the Lunchex.

I'll gladly trade my licensing fee for a TS55 and CT Midi  [blink]

not refrigerated but they did offer a insulated, sys4. limited edition i think but you can still find them..  called the "cooltainer"

I wish Festool would fix the inserts that are in systainers.  You have a premium tool in a premium case (systainer) and the inserts are GARBAGE!!!    They always crack or become cracked over time.  I just bought a New Df500 and it has a broken insert new.  I will Festool this week to get a new one.

I see your point. I just popped my Festool cherry today with a Carvex. The Systainer looks fine but that insert was pretty lame. My Milwaukee stuff is in a case that looks like you can run it over with a large truck. Maybe I'll make a nice one.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Festool to get this done. But perhaps it's an opportunity for another vendor or an enterprising individual?

I wish Festool made a tool similar to the Dremel with it still having dust extraction. Or at least a 1x1" flat sander to get in the tiny areas of my signs LOL [eek]

That's cheating.  Try using real cooking appliances more often (toaster oven, pressure cooker, ...)
