Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

I would like to see a new fence for the DF 500 that has multiple stops like the 700 has. If they offered a new fence separately I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Definitely put me down for one also!

I think an serious upgrade kit for the DF500 would be an awesome offering. If Festool doesn't I'm sure Seneca will !

When you say "fence" do you really mean the indexing pins?  Or are you truly talking about the detent indexing to adjust the 0 - 90 deg setting?

Cheers. Bryan.

Like has been said many times now, an 18v impact driver. I really hope the rep in my area is right about his "hinting". There are few times I need an impact for what I do as the PDC is so power, but it would be nice in those rare cases.

Toss up between my CT midi, Kapex, and ETS 150/5 Most used. Least used, HL850 (But I still love that machine!)

I'd really be after additional indexing pins, but when I posted I was thinking about ease of retrofit. Would be far easier to swap out the entire fence/base assembly to a new unit.

Maybe somehow indexing pins for the height as well for stacking dominos one above the other.

Tweaks to LR32 to add two holes for mounting the Domino, and put a grove pointing toward the rail > on the centering hole so you can use it to mark with would be nice.  Both of these should be simple changes to the metal punches in the manufacturing stage for the router base plate in the LR 32 system.

[size=13pt]An automatic tool to vacuum smart switch. Vacuum switch recognises which tool and switches on automatically with the tool and also automatically adjusts to the appropriate suction level. Suction level could still have manual override.

Would be great when up ladders etc, or when you have set up a tool such as a domino and as I recently did, after fine tuning on the pencil line, you realise the vac is still on Manual!  [eek] [and not for the first time either!]

I got into the habit of using auto as my off position. I think you meant your DE was in off as opposed to manual as it would be running in manual. For me, off has no value, only as a frustration. When I am finished using manual I switch to auto and it will be ready to go when I hook up to a tool. If I am going to use it manually again I just swing back through manual and then back to auto. In short, auto becomes my off.

Can't help you on the suction level unless you come up with a bypass valve at the hose end like there is on the plastic cleaning set.
