Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

Broken record here: I don't want a multifunction driver. I already have a Quadrive. I just want an 18v impact driver. Onboard shadowless LED illumination would be a bonus.

Given that new products show up on the international site well ahead of the US site, it looks like it's gonna be a long, miserable wait.

Not a new tool, but I wish Festool would reintroduce the VS 600 joining system.
I missed out getting one several years ago and would really like to have it.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it on this thread yet  ;) but I would like them to make an 18 volt impact screwdriver, that would make the rest of their 18 volt range a far more viable prospect.

Not fussed about centrotec, just made the damn rattle gun already.

Maybe take a few ideas off De-Walt regarding the three LEDs on the front of theirs so the bit doesn't cast a daft shadow and it doesn't have to be the best thing in the whole wide world, just good enough.

If I'm being fussy, make it quite short and brushless but really, rattle guns aren't rocket science are they? Just do it.

Oh and a T-Loc site radio, with attic lid LED lights combined with being a mains powered* charger for the batteries.
Chuck in a phone charger, DAB,FM radio, USB memory stick and Bluetooth and Roberts yer mothers brother.

Or just do the bloody rattle gun, like every site worker wants.

Ta muchly.

*Although technically being a UK site worker I would like it in 110 volts with the yellow plug.

Thanks Kev
I think it has something to do with having the complete system, and is to a lesser extent a utilitarian tool. But you are right, the Leigh jig is more versatile.  I will leave it here so as not to clutter up the thread.

It would be really nice if each of the dust extraction units (at least CTL-SYS and the mobile units) also had 2 x USB ports in them for charging of mobile phones and other similar equipment.

Perhaps this might not be too much to engineer into the product, perhaps it is... just a thought! :)

I'd like something like a RAP 80/RAS 115 (which appear to be pretty much the same unit with different gear ratios), but with a multi speed gearbox.  A really low ratio plus a drill chuck  so it can be used like a Milwaukee Hole Hawg, medium ratio for polish and light sanding, high speed for heavy sanding.
Also, bring back the BF1 powerfile/mini belt sander attachment for the same unit.

2.6 amp batt at 15V.

[member=19746]Untidy Shop[/member] sadly I think Festool's love affair with 15V ended a while back. I have only the C15 and Ti15 in 15V, but I have a C18 and if Festool bring out a "Ti18" I'll be selling all of my 15V stuff along with several extra batteries.

I also have a 12V and a mains Protool DWC's ... I'd grab an 18V DWC and ex the two Protools as well

I'd be really curious how much is fundamentally NANIA v's NAI110V v's other reasons.

My understanding with CMS modules is cost of hoops to jump through. CMS OF2200 issues are unclear to me.
